Jason has 11 years experience in mental health. Jason received his Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. He has spent his career working in residential treatment settings, non-public schools, and outpatient treatment centers for adults.  Prior to his Marriage and Family Therapy practice, Jason worked in the emergency medical services.

Marty is a graduate of the University of Santa Monica with a Master of Arts degree in counseling psychology. He is experienced working with CPS-involved families, domestic violence batterers and victims, veterans struggling with drug and alcohol addictions, parents engaged in high-conflict child custody disputes, and other individuals of 
all ages seeking more balanced and fulfilling lives.

Allison works with couples and individuals, children and adults.  Allison's practice focuses on dealing with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, family conflict, sexual orientation, and adoption. 

Donna Genis has been a licensed marriage and family therapist since 1990.  Her career in the mental health field  began working in a psychiatric hospital with adults and adolescents,  followed by several years of experience working with families effected by substance abuse in a community service agency setting. 

Jarvis has 19 years experience in mental health.  Upon graduating from California Baptist University, he has worked in residential treatment settings, non-public schools, and chronically mentally ill treatment settings.  Currently he is in private practice at Novell & Novell Counseling Services, Inc. 

Donna has been with Novell and Novell for over 10 years and has worked in the mental health field for over 12 years.   Prior to coming to Novell and Novell she worked for the Riverside County District Attorney's Victim Witness Assistance Unit for 10 years.  Donna received her Master of Arts at Trinity College of Graduate Studies.  Donna is trained in EMDR therapy and has completed her certification through EMDRIA and is a Certified EMDR therapist.   She is a member of CAMFT since 1997 and a member of EMDRIA since 2006.

Rebecca graduated from Loma Linda University in 2003 with her masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.  Rebecca worked in Foster Family Agencies for 6 years after graduating, in which she worked with foster minors and foster parents, helping with adjustment, decreasing negative behaviors and managing crises. 
Rebecca continues to work with children and teens as well as with adults, individual, couples and families.
 

Owner and administrator Ben Novell has over 20 years experience. Upon receiving his Master of Science in Counseling Psychology he has worked in many disciplines including work in the juvenile court system as well as time as a probation officer being nominated for Deputy Probation Officer of the Year in Riverside County. With extensive experience in Domestic Violence and Anger Management programs both leading and developing multiple programs focusing on the offender. 

Co-Owner Janelle Novell’s primary focus of practice is with children Ages 2-12 years old who have issues related to physical, sexual and emotional abuse, trauma, reactive attachment disorder, anxiety, depressive disorders, including early onset bi-polar disorder, oppositional defiance, ADHD and adjustment disorders. Janelle also serves as Director of Continuing Education Program leading the Development and Implementation of the Continuing Education Program at Novell & Novell Counseling Services.
